About the Japan Children's Rights NetworkOur Mission is to to disseminate information to help change attitudes and laws in Japan in order to assure all children of frequent, meaningful and continuing contact with both natural parents, regardless of citizenship, marital status or gender. We want to restore the rights of children in Japan with separated parents, such as in divorce, international parental abduction to Japan, parental kidnapping within Japan and birth out of wedlock. Every Child Has Two Parents. We welcome contact with the press and other organizations. If you are a member of the press or other mass media, and there is any way we can help you with a story related to children's rights in Japan, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have both Japanese and non-Japanese parents of abducted children available for interviews, as well as both Japanese and non-Japanese lawyers.
