NARA -- A Mie Prefecture man charged with using schoolgirl prostitutes has been slapped with an additional charge of possessing child pornography he intended to share over the Internet, Nara District Public Prosecutors Office said.

Takaaki Fukuma, 35, a part-time worker from Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, was indicted on an additional charge of breaking the Law for Punishing Acts Related to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography.

Prosecutors said that on Oct. 29 last year, Fukuma possessed 16 items of pornographic data featuring girls under the age of 18 on his home computer, which he intended to distribute to an unlimited number of people by using file exchange software on the Internet.

Fukuma has already been charged with two counts of breaking the same law by paying two schoolgirls he met via an online dating site 23,000 yen and 40,000 yen, respectively, for sex at a hotel in Mie Prefecture on separate occasions in July and August last year.
