High school boy leaps to death from condominium complex
The Mainichi Shimbun KADOMA, Osaka -- A 15-year-old high school boy has leaped to his death from a condominium complex here, police said. A resident of a condominium complex in Kadoma found a boy lying on the ground at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, and called for an ambulance, local police said. The boy was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. He has been identified as a first-year high school student living in Kadoma. His bag was left on the landing of a staircase between the sixth and seventh floors, leading investigators to suspect that he committed suicide by leaping from the structure.
