Man arrested for beating girlfriend's baby in Miyazaki
Japan Today MIYAZAKI — A 20-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for beating the 11-month-old daughter of his girlfriend, 26, at her apartment. Koji Narimatsu, 20, was arrested for allegedly beating the baby around 8:40 p.m. on June 19 by swinging her around. The baby suffered a broken left leg. The woman lives with her two daughters, but she was out at the time of the incident. She had asked her boyfriend to babysit. The kindergarten reported the child’s injuries to a local child consultation center, police said. Narimatsu was quoted by police as saying, “I lost my temper because the baby wouldn’t stop crying.” |
