Girl, 15, found dead in apparent suicide
The Yomiuri Shimbun TOYAMA--The body of a third-year female middle school student was found dead Tuesday morning in a park in Nyuzenmachi, Toyama Prefecture, in an apparent suicide. According to police, the student's family found the 15-year-old girl hanged with a plastic cord around her neck and a metal ladder beside her. They immediately called the police. The girl's family had begun searching for her at about 4:30 a.m., after finding her missing. She was discovered dead about 15 minutes later. (Aug. 6, 2008) |
