Police have arrested five men on suspicion of exchanging photographs of naked boys and sharing via a Web site information on where such photos could be taken, it has been learned.

The Kanagawa prefectural police has sent papers on four other men--including a 47-year-old cram school teacher of Zama, Kanagawa Prefecture--to prosecutors on suspicion of violating the Law for Punishing Acts Related to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography.

The police also plan to send papers on a 33-year-old man from Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, who managed the Web site, to prosecutors for his alleged violation of the law.

The Web site is reportedly accessed an average of about 6,000 times each day and is believed to be one of the most popular Web sites for those with a pedophiliac interest in boys, having been accessed 6.84 million times over three years.
