Woman suspected of abandoning bodies of her 2 newborn babies in refrigerator
The Mainichi Shimbun MIYAZAKI -- A woman who is suspected of abandoning the bodies of her two newborn babies in a refrigerator at her home here has been arrested, police said. In the specific case for which she was arrested, Kazumi Hamada, 28, a restaurant worker, abandoned the body of a newborn baby she had given birth to on Aug. 13, 2006, in a refrigerator at her home in Miyazaki, local police said. Investigators who raided her home found the body of another newborn baby in the refrigerator. Local police are trying to determine the cause of their deaths. Hamada has admitted that she dumped both of them. Her husband claims he does not know about the incidents. (Mainichi Japan) November 28, 2007 |
