In-Progress Fund Raising

Pledges are currently being requested to help fund the following projects.

  • Please help Yamila Castellanos stay in Japan and fight for her abducted daughter.  See Yamila's Story on this website and our Events listing for more information on her situation. Please make your donation to the Japanese postal account, #10150-84023061, which you can do from any post office (before 4pm) and from some banks.  The account name is in katakana, KASUTE(I)RAYANOSUSAYASUYAMIRA (Note that the TE(I)  is a TE plus a small I, all three YA's are full sized, and there is not punctuation between her last, middle, and first name.). In real katakana, it is カスティラヤノスサヤスヤミラ。)
  • Help us fund the development and Japanese translation of this web site.  The following page has the current project plan for how these donations will be used.
  • Help us fund creation of Japanese language materials supporting the need for BOTH parents when raising a child.  We have plenty of English literature.  It just needs to be translated.

Fund Raising

Projects being considered to raise money in the future are:

  • Provide an English and Japanese version of a pre-nuptial agreement that covers what to do if there is ever a dispute about children.  It should be such that it would be legal in both Japan and other countries, and provide legally enforceable civil law recourse if it is not obeyed.  Includes instructions to execute, i.e. getting notarized and whatever else required.  Our version would be vetted by a Japanese lawyer in advance.  Price: 2-30,000 yen.
  • Some things we could do cost money on a per person basis.  Such as, we can provide virtual mailboxes for forwarding email, so that people can have an account such as yourdaddyP229L [AT) crnjapan.com.   Note that this is not necessary as we will put up any other email address that someone wants into the Family Pages.  But we could offer this email forwarding as a service for a fixed fee per year.  (Say $24/yr.)  Or we could offer it as a benefit of joining CRN Japan and paying the dues each year.  (The later is probably a better idea.)
