Japanese Citizens Wanted for International Child AbductionThere are quite a few Japanese citizens with outstanding arrest warrants in a foreign country. All of the people on the following list have some kind of outstanding court order or arrest warrant related to child abduction. Most, if not all, are presumed to be living in Japan at well known locations. Japan refuses to extradite Japanese citizens (and in some cases even non-citizens) despite warrants for their arrest. Interpol is searching for many of these Japanese parents, so they will be arrested in countries all over the world, if they travel outside of Japan. The crimes committed by these Japanese citizens are recognized by at least three international treaties: the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, the Hague Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-operation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Without abiding by these commonly accepted international standards of behavior, Japan's commitment to upholding international law and order cannot be trusted. It is no wonder that Japan is unable to get a permanent seat on the United Nations Security council. CRN Japan believes that Japan does not deserve a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council until it permanently agrees to uphold standards of international family law. Finally, CRN Japan would like to point out the hypocrisy of Japan's complaints against North Korea, for kidnapping Japanese citizens. Japan demands that North Korea return kidnapped children like Megumi Yokota to their Japanese parents. Yet when foreigners request that the Japanese government return children taken by Japanese parents and living in well known locations in Japan, the Japanese government, Japanese laws and Japanese court system refuse. If you know someone else who should be on this list, please send email to wantedZp1ti (A T] crnjapan.com THE WANTED LIST
(*1) US citizen of Japan ancestry. (*2) US citizen
Anyone on this list known not to be a Japanese citizen is so noted. But the fact that non-citizens of Japanese ancestry are also being protected, shows that there is a racially discriminatory aspect to this behavior. This may also violate the United Nations International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. This list shows that Japan will not even extradite a non-Japanese citizen to the country of their citizenship. Is Japan a country that deserves a position of responsibility at the United Nations?
